Super Soft Cream Cheese Cookies

Let’s make a cookie tin for the holidays! We need snowball cookies, peanut butter blossom cookies, pistachio shortbread cookies and these super soft cream cheese sugar cookies!

Have you ever added cream cheese to your cookies before? If not, your cookie loving brain is going to love it!  The cream cheese makes the cookies soft, moist and so good!    If you’re looking for new Christmas Cookies recipes to try, you need to give this recipe a shot!

Because I love taking cookies to the next step, I mixed some powdered sugar and milk together to make a light vanilla glaze frosting to dip each cookie in. Finally, add holiday colored sprinkles or chopped up candy canes on top of each cookie and they’re ready to go!   If you’re sharing these with others, make sure to keep a few for yourself because they won’t last!

Wow 2 thumbs up! Thanks for sharing. I used a cookie scoop. First batch I tried to flatten a bit with the back of a spoon but the batter kept sticking to it. So then tried with my fingers and that worked fine. 3rd batch I left them alone and they were fine too. Cooked for 10 – 11 min. 4 days later and they are as good as the 1st day!

I want to make these in jumbo size, using an ice cream scoop. Any insight as to adjusting temperature or cooking time? Thank you for your help.

Love them. When I make them for the holidays I add the red sprinkles, but today I added 1/2 cup mini chocolate morsels and no red sprinkles. Love them both ways.
