Ok I admit it, I had way too many cookies over the holiday. I mean how couldn’t I? I had dozens of Sugar Cookies and Snowball Cookies just staring at me on the counter so I had to get rid of them. It’s time for a holiday detox!
This green juice is a perfect way to say goodbye to the cookie blues and feel energized again! I especially love this juice as an afternoon pick me up when I feel the energy fading away. It’s an easy way to eat your fruits and veggies too!
What is in green juice?
You will need 2 green apples, kale, celery, cucumber, grapes, lime and water for this smoothie.
To prep you’ll want to core the apple and then chop them up along with the celery and cucumber.
After that all your ingredients to your blender or Nutribullet (we love ours) and blend until smooth.
Is Green Juice healthy for you?
Yes, green juice is great for energy and promotes a strong immune system due to the amount of fruit and vegetables in it. It’s a great afternoon pick me up snack that helps curb your appetite until dinner. It’s also great for weight loss and an easy way to get your daily vitamins in.
What else can I add to this juice?
The magical thing about juices is that you can swap ingredients pretty easily. Here are my favorites:
- Swap spinach for kale
- Swap pineapple or pears for apples
- Swap lemon for lime
- Want it a little spicy? Add 1 inch of peeled ginger.
How long does green juice last in fridge?
Juice is best when served immediately, but it can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 day.
Can I make this juice in a juicer?
You sure can. Add all the ingredients to the juicer and process as you normally would.

- 2 green apples cored and chopped
- 2 cups kale
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 cucumber chopped
- 1/2 cup grapes
- juice from 1 lime
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. If your blender has a “smoothie” or “liquefy” setting, this is best to use.
- Once blended pour into cups and enjoy. If you want a pulp free juice, pour through a mesh sieve (with bowl under it) and press with a spoon to get all the juice out. Pour into cups.
