Made with apples, kale, celery, cucumber, grapes and lime, this is a green juice that you actually want to drink! It’s a refreshing drink made in the blender, perfect for breakfast, snack or post workout.
Green Juice Recipe (that actually tastes good)
Ok, all, let’s be honest, not all green juices taste good. But this is one I actually look forward to making!
Made with crisp sweet apples and grapes, kale, crunchy celery and cucumbers and lime, it’s the perfect juice to give me an afternoon pick me up when I feel my energy fading away (instead of heading for my usual cup of coffee). Simply throw everything in a blender and your green juice is ready in seconds – it’s that easy.
This recipe makes 2 servings. I like to drink one right away, and then keep the other in my refrigerator for the next day.

Ingredients for Green Juice
- Green Apples, don’t have green apples? Your favorite red apples work too.
- Kale
- Celery
- Cucumber
- Grapes, green or purple work!
- Lime
- Water, this helps make everything blend. You can also use juice (apple, pineapple and orange juice all taste good), or milk for a creamy juice.
Green Juice Ingredient Swaps
The magical thing about juices is that you can swap ingredients pretty easily. Here are my favorites:
- Swap spinach for kale
- Swap pineapple or pears for apples
- Swap lemon for lime
- Want it a little spicy? Add 1 inch of peeled ginger.
How long does green juice last in fridge?
This juice is best when served immediately, but it can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 day.
Can I make this juice in a juicer?
You sure can. Add all the ingredients to the juicer and process as you normally would.

Greens Juice That Actually Tastes Good!
PrintIngredients
- 2 green apples cored and chopped
- 2 cups kale
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 cucumber chopped
- 1/2 cup grapes
- juice from 1 lime
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. If your blender has a “smoothie” or “liquefy” setting, this is best to use.
- Once blended pour into cups. This makes 2 servings, so make for 2, or drink one and then keep the other in the refrigerator for tomorrow. For additional refreshment (especially during the Summer), I like to add some ice cubes into my cup! Enjoy.
