NYC Garden Update – July 2023

By: Pamela Reed
Posted:7/19/23
Updated:3/31/25

I know I’ve been slacking on garden updates the last few months, so I’m going to try something new – I’m going to share video updates showing you what we’re growing each month! Here is the first one – July!

July is an exciting month because so much is growing, with some plants ending (did you see we harvested our garlic?) and some just starting to take off (tomatoes, peppers). Next month you’ll be seeing lots of red tomatoes and corn!! WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR THE CORN!

Here’s our little garden update – hope you like it! Please tell me in the comments what you’re growing – I always love hearing about it!

I have been trying your recipes for several years. Please keep them coming I love your garden. You are so lucky. I am a senior now and am now in a condo. I truly miss my garden and wish I had even a balcony to grow something. It is so great that you are involving the children in the healthy gardening way of growing your own food. My own four daughters are now doing the same thing with their kids. Take care of yourself and your lovely famuily.
