What you will need:
Plant Pot (I recommend a 6 or 8 inch pot)
-Chocolate Cookies
-Fresh Strawberries (rinsed)
Orange Chocolate Melts
Craft Fence
Craft Rabbits

Ingredients to make Edible Garden Craft

A garden needs soil, so first let’s make our chocolate dirt!  Chocolate dirt is easy to make, just throw a bunch of chocolate sandwich cookies in your food processor and pulse a few times until it resembles soil.

BEFORE:
Cookies in Food Processor

AFTER pulsing:

Now grab your plant pot.  You can use any color pot you want, but I do recommend staying in the 6 or 8 inch size range.  If you do anything larger you’re going to need a lot more soil so keep that in mind!  Fill your chocolate soil into the pot!

Great!  Time to make the carrots for the garden which are strawberries dipped in melted orange chocolate!  You can use any type of orange chocolate but I love Wilton Candy Melts for covering food in chocolate!
Orange Chocolate Melts
For easy melting throw the candy in a glass bowl and melt for about 30 seconds to 1 minute in the microwave.

After 30 seconds, just give it a stir and see if they’re completely melted.  Now our orange chocolate is ready for dipping!

Dip the strawberries one at a time in the orange chocolate. I hold the strawberry by it’s top and give it a few spins in the bowl until it’s covered in orange.

Now press each strawberry into the soil, gently pressing each down until it’s covered.  Use your fingers to brush the dirt over the strawberries, leaving the green tops exposed!

Grab your craft fence. I bought mine from Amazon but you can probably find these in any craft stores in different sizes.  Press it down into the dirt.

No garden is complete without pesky rabbits!  Let’s hope these rabbits won’t eat all your plants though!  Warning: these craft rabbits are not edible!  I found a pack of 3 mini rabbits that look perfect in my garden! If you could find some white chocolate rabbits that are edible that would be really great too!

Place the rabbits throughout your garden, surrounding the “carrots” in different sections.  Aren’t they just so cute?
