16oz boxrotini pasta
1medium size cauliflower headchopped into bite size pieces
1/2cupchicken broth(you can also use vegetable)
1teaspoondried parsley flakes
salt + pepper to taste
1/4cupgrated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta as instructed on box. With 3 minutes left, add cauliflower. Drain, put back in pot and set aside.
Melt butter and garlic in a medium saucepan. Add flour and cook for 1 more minute, stirring, until it's a creamy butter mixture.
Add chicken broth and milk, continuing to stir for a few minutes until sauce thickens.
Add parsley, salt + pepper and Parmesan cheese. Keep stirring!
Pour cheese sauce over pasta and cauliflower in pot. Add in chopped up lettuce. Stir so the creamy sauce covers everything.
Serve hot, enjoy.
