Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes
Servings 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butternut squash peeled and chopped
  • 1 gala apple chopped
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 banana chopped
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries

Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil.  Add butternut squash, apple and celery and cook on a low boil for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes your fork should be able to easily go through the vegetables.  If it doesn't, cook for 5 more minutes or until your fork can easily go into them.  Drain the vegetables.
  • Add butternut squash, apple and celery into food processor (or blender).  Add banana, raspberries and blueberries and pulse until baby food consistency.  For the food processor, this only takes a few seconds.
  • Serve immediately (after cooling down), place in refrigerator to eat within 2 days, or freeze for later usage.  I also love putting this food in reusable pouches for my toddler to snack on!
