Chocolate Coffee Donuts

Easy to make Chocolate Coffee Donuts with Vanilla Chocolate Chip Frosting!  This donut recipe is a family favorite! Everyone thinks they're delicious!

For the donuts

  • 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules

For the Frosting

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • mini chocolate chips


For the donuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray your donut pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
  3. Add oil, milk, vanilla and coffee and continue to stir until mixed.
  4. Pour into donut pan (about 3/4 filled) and bake 11-12 minutes.
  5. Let cool for 15 minutes.

For the frosting

  1. For the frosting, mix powdered sugar and milk together in bowl with a spoon.
  2. Once donuts are cooled down, dip each one into the frosting. Add mini chocolate chips on top.
  3. Enjoy!
