In a large pan over medium high heat add olive oil. Once heated, add in beef, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.
In the same pan, add broccoli, pepper, carrots, garlic and beef broth. Continue cooking until vegetables are gently softened, about 3 minutes.
Add soy sauce to the pan, stir and cook for 3 more minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Serve in bowls on top of white rice or lo mein noodles. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each serving.
