2 15 oz canchili beansdrained
2 15 oz candiced tomatoesnot drained
1 6 oz cantomato paste
1large yellow onionchopped
1large green pepperchopped
1large red pepperchopped
shredded cheddar cheesefor topping
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium high heat until crisp. Remove bacon, crumble it and set aside. Drain grease out of pan.
In the same skillet add Italian Sausage and cook until browned. Add bacon and sausage to slow cooker.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and stir so seasonings are completely mixed.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Serve in bowls and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Serve with some crusty Italian bread!
