Spicy Italian Crushed Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

cup
olive oil

garlic

red pepper flakes

can of crushed tomatoes
or fresh crushed tomatoes

can of tomato sauce

bunch of fresh basil
chopped up

small bell pepper
chopped up

package dried pasta of choice
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
Add red pepper flakes and saute for 1 minute.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil and pepper.
Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring a few times.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta of choice and cook as instructed on box. Drain.
Add pasta sauce to pasta and stir.
Serve hot and enjoy.
