Ingredients
6
mozzarella string cheese sticks
6
almonds
cut in half
marinara sauce
Instructions
Take the cheese sticks out of their plastic wrappers and round off the edges to give them a more finger-like appearance.
Roughly tear each cheese stick in half. For a more realistic look, aim for uneven tears, as this will mimic the look of tendons!
Carefully use a small knife to carve out a nail bed at one end of each cheese stick.
Next, add 2-3 small wrinkles along the length of each "finger" to resemble knuckles.
Spread some sauce on a plate to create the appearance of small blood puddles.
Dip the bottom of each cheese finger into the sauce, then place it on the plate.
Finish by pressing half an almond onto the end of each finger to create the nail.
Serve and enjoy these spooky, yet fun, bloody fingers!
Notes
How many should you make? Each cheese stick makes 2 bloody fingers, so 6 cheese sticks would make 12 fingers! I say 2-3 fingers is good per person!
