My favorite juicy mushrooms to serve over mashed potatoes and steak! All you need is mushrooms, soy sauce, butter and minced garlic! This is my go-to recipe for our favorite mushroom side dish - try it and find out why!
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are softened, about 5 minutes. During this time the mushrooms will release some liquid into the skillet.
Add in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring often to lightly brown it. Add soy sauce and a pinch of pepper into the skillet, continue cooking while stirring until the liquid has evaporated.
Serve over mashed potatoes, steak, or whatever else you’d like and enjoy these mushrooms!

Want to double the recipe for a crowd? Double the ingredients but only use 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
