White Chocolate Chip Cookies (Made with Bread Flour)
Chunky White Chocolate Chip Cookies made with bread flour that are chewy inside, crispy on the outside! You're going to love the chocolate taste in each bite with light salt sprinkled on top. This simple recipe yields 2 dozen homemade cookies. This is one of my best cookie recipes - you must try them!
In a small bowl mix together bread flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl mix together softened butter, brown sugar, sugar, egg and vanilla with a hand mixer. Add egg and vanilla into bowl and continue mixing until combined.
Add flour mixture into the bowl with wet ingredients and mix until you have a crumbly cookie dough. Add white chocolate chips and stir with a spoon. Note: This cookie dough will seem very crumbly right now but that's what we want.
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Roll large tablespoon balls of cookie dough and place on nonstick cookie sheets. The dough is light and crumbly, so you need to apply pressure with your hands when forming into balls. Sprinkle sea salt on each cookie (optional but it's very good!). Use a spatula to gently press down on each cookie so it's no longer a ball.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom. Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 15 minutes. During this time the cookies will firm up. Serve and enjoy!
