8cupspeach slicesthis is around 12 average size peaches
1/2cupwhite sugar
1/2teaspooncinnamon
(1) 15.25ounce boxyellow cake mix
1/2cupbuttersliced into 8 pieces
Instructions
Stir peaches and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Allow to sit for 10 minutes, this helps the peaches release the juices and softens the fruit.
Spray the crockpot bowl with cooking spray.
Add peaches into the crockpot. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the peaches. Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top of the peaches. Don’t stir. Add butter pieces on top.
Close the lid and cook on HIGH for 3.5 - 4 hours, or until cobbler is bubbly and golden brown around the edges.
Allow to sit for 15 minutes before serving in bowls. We love scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of ours. Enjoy!
Notes
Note on cake mix: I love this cobbler with yellow cake mix, but I’ve also tried it with white and pineapple cake mix and both tasted great.
