Big, creamy, cheesy, and totally hands-off — these crockpot mashed potatoes are made for a crowd. Just toss in potatoes, butter, garlic, and broth, let the slow cooker do its magic, then stir in cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar. Serve straight from the crockpot and watch everyone go back for seconds!
Add potatoes, broth, garlic, and butter to the crockpot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or LOW for 6–7 hours, or until potatoes are tender and a fork easily slides in.
Stir in cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Use a hand mixer directly in the crockpot and mash until potatoes are creamy and smooth.
Garnish with extra cheddar cheese and chopped up chives (or parsley) on top. Serve directly from the crockpot. Enjoy!
