Bread Machine Italian Herb Bread (basil and oregano)

Delicious 1 pound loaf of Italian Herb Bread made in the bread machine. It makes a crispy crust, while the inside is light and fluffy. Made with dried basil and oregano it's filled with Italian flavor and will make your kitchen smell great! It's one of our favorite bread machine bread recipes!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon dry milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the bread machine baking pan in order listed in ingredient list.
  • If you have a European Bread cycle, press that. If you don't, select Basic Bread cycle. Press Start. Our bread machine takes about 3 hours from start to finish.
  • Once bread machine completes, remove bread from pan.  Enjoy!
