Ingredients
1/2
cup
butter
4
cups
frozen or fresh broccoli florets
1
cup
carrots - peeled and chopped
1
cup
frozen corn
3
cups
chicken broth
8
ounces
Velveeta cheese - cubed
1
cup
milk
1
cup
heavy cream
1
tablespoon
garlic powder
1
teaspoon
dried mustard
1/2
cup
cornstarch
3/4
cup
water
Instructions
Melt butter. Add in broccoli, carrots, corn and chicken broth.
Bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Add in cubed cheese, milk and heavy cream
Stir in garlic powder and dried mustard.
Mix until cheese is completely melted (5-10 minutes).
In a separate bowl mix cornstarch and water until cornstarch is dissolved. Then add to soup mixture.
Mix for about 5 minutes on medium high heat until you reach a thickness you like.
