Ingredients
1/2cupbuttersoftened
1/2cupwhite sugar
1/2cupbrown sugar
1egg
1/2teaspoonvanilla
3/4cupcocoa powder
3/4cupall purpose flour
1/2teaspoonbaking powder
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
pinchof salt+ additional for sprinkling on top
1cupchocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 cookie sheets with nonstick spray or use silicone baking mats.
In a large bowl mix together butter, white sugar and brown sugar with hand mixer. Add egg and vanilla and continue mixing.
Add cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda and pinch of salt. Mix until combined.
Add chocolate chips and stir with spoon to evenly distribute.
Roll into tablespoon sized balls and place on cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle cookies with a small amount of salt on top. Very gently press down with a fork on each cookie to give it a cookie shape.
