Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars with Chocolate Frosting
Guilt-free Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars with Melted Chocolate Frosting on top! You'll love how easy this recipe is and how these bars don't fall apart! These bars are great for breakfast or dessert and are packed with protein! To keep it light on calories substitute 1/2 cup Stevia Blend instead of sugar.
1/2cupWhole Earth Sweetener Baking Blendor 1 cup sugar
6tablespoonssoftened butter
1teaspoonvanilla extract
3eggs
1cupall purpose flour
1cupquick oats
1cupmilk chocolate chips
sea salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix peanut butter, Whole Earth Sweetener Baking Blend (or sugar) and butter together. Add vanilla and eggs and continue mixing. Add flour and quick oats and stir with a spoon.
Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray. Spread your dough out into pan, using a spatula to press it down and make sure that it completely covers the pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
While baking, put 1 cup chocolate chips in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds or until melted.
Once bars are finished, remove from oven and add melted chocolate on top. Use spatula to spread chocolate out to cover completely. Sprinkle with a light amount of sea salt on top.
