Ingredients

tomatillos
husked
1/2
cup
onion
chopped
1
jalapeno pepper
seeds removed, finely diced
1
teaspoon
minced garlic
2
tablespoons
fresh cilantro
1 1/2
teaspoon
salt
1/2
teaspoon
ground cumin
pinch
pepper

cup
water
1/4
cup
lime juice
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until it's salsa consistency.
Pour salsa verde into a saucepan and heat on medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often.
Allow to cool and then serve or place in refrigerator for later on.
