Grandmas Tuna and Chips Dip

Grandmas Tuna and Chips Dip recipe, just like Grandma used to make it! This creamy tuna dip is made with Cream of Mushroom Soup and American cheese slices with crushed up potato chips on top! This is a classic Midwestern family recipe!

  • 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup canned peas
  • 1 small green pepper finely chopped
  • 6 ounces tuna drained
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed potato chips
  • 2 slices American cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk into a 1 quart casserole dish.  Whisk until mixed.  

  3. Add peas, green pepper, tuna and 1 cup of crushed potato chips.  Mix until everything is combined.

  4. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of potato chips on top.  Cover with 2 slices of cheese.

  5. Bake for 25 minutes.  After 25 minutes, turn oven to broil and bake (while watching it) for 2-3 minutes, or until cheese is lightly browned.
