What I Love: Dill Pickle Cashews

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Emerald®.  This is my honest opinion that I’m obsessed with their Dill Pickle Cashews!

Based on my multiple pickle recipes (hello, hello again) I guess you can say I love pickles.  We grow cucumbers in the garden specifically for pickles.   I never leave any pickle untouched when they come on the side of a sandwich lunch.  I love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.    So when I heard that Emerald® came out with Dill Pickle Cashews, I was like YES YES YES YES!

I’m a snacker.  I’ve mentioned before that I will usually spoil my dinner because I will eat handfuls of nuts, fruit, cheese, crackers, candy, bananas, cookies while dinner is being made.   I’ve also embarrassingly mentioned that sometimes during the night I will wake up, head to the snack cabinet and then make my way back to bed to see gummy worms or cheese crackers on my pillow the next morning.    I also am a afternoon snacker.  This is the section of my day where I snack after lunch but before my pre dinner snack.  It usually happens around 3PM when I’m sitting at my desk at work.  During that time, I need something bursting with bold flavors to awaken my taste buds!    It’s cashew time! Let’s go nuts (hahaha)!

Emerald came out with four bold new cashew flavors that will keep any snacker happy.  There’s Dill Pickle, Jalapeno, Sriracha and Salt and Pepper.  I love this mix up of flavors from your traditional can of salted cashews.  These flavors are definitely not boring!

First, let’s talk Dill Pickle.  If you are love pickles you will love these.  If you don’t like pickles, you probably won’t like these, because they actually taste exactly like pickles.  I’m not sure how they made cashews to taste just like pickles, but each nut is crisp and tangy with a touch of garlic seasoning.

You can actually see the dill on the cashews!

Next up is Salt and Pepper.  You’d think these would be boring because the title is traditional but it’s not.   They are seasoned with salt and fresh ground pepper and there’s flavor in every single taste.   These are close up there to be my favorites.  Again… you can see the salt and pepper!

Any Sriracha lovers here?  Yeah, probably.  These are spicy red chili and garlic cashews with a hint of vinegar.

And last but not least, Jalapeno. Jalapeno is high up there on one of my favorite garden plants so I was pretty pumped to taste these.  They are zesty and spicy due to that bite of jalapeno peppers.   You can see the green peppers on each cashew.

Now that I got your taste buds on the move, check out Emerald’s site and stop by a grocery store to pick up a pack.  I especially love the 100 calorie packs to try to hold me off from eating a entire bag.

Check out the Emerald #CashewCraze Twitter Party taking place on Wednesday, February 3 at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST.  I’ll be there with a big bowl of cashews.  🙂

Now tell me…. what’s your favorite snack?
