SOY SAUCE MUSHROOMS

MUSHROOMS AND STEAK

These are our favorite mushrooms to top our steak, meatloaf,  salisbury steak and mashed potatoes made with!

INGREDIENTS

1. Butter – salted or not salted, although we always buy salted butter. 2. Whole Button Mushrooms – slice them.  3. Soy Sauce – I recommend low sodium soy sauce. 4. Pantry Basics – Minced Garlic & Pepper

HOW TO MAKE

1. Melt butter in a skillet and add mushrooms. During this time the mushrooms will released their juices.

2. Add in minced garlic, soy sauce and a pinch of pepper into the skillet.

3. Continue cooking until the liquid has evaporated and you have saucy mushrooms left.

4. Serve over steak and mashed potatoes and enjoy!

What kind of  mushrooms should I use? Button, Portabella and Cremini mushrooms all will work. Personally we prefer button mushrooms!
