MAKE PERFECT BAKED POTATOES

INGREDIENTS

-Idaho potatoes (or Russet) -water

HOW LONG SHOULD I COOK THEM FOR?

The key to perfect creamy baked potatoes is knowing the time to cook them for in the Instant Pot. Read the post for ALL TIMES BASED ON POTATO SIZE.

HOW TO MAKE POTATOES IN THE INSTANT POT:

1. Poke holes all over the potatoes using a fork.

2.  Add the trivet to the bottom of the Instant Pot. This is a basic accessory that comes with the Instant Pot. Pour water on the bottom.

3. Add potatoes on the rack. If you have to many potatoes to lay flat, you can stack them on top of each other, that’s totally ok!

4. Close the lid, set the valve to sealing and pressure cook based on size of the potatoes.   I was cooking some extra large potatoes so 19 minutes was our time.

HOW TO MAKE

5. Let the pressure release naturally, this takes about 10-15 minutes. When done, open the lid and check out these fluffy baked potatoes! A fork slides in perfectly!

6. Serve with your favorite toppings (butter (that’s my fav), sour cream, bacon, cheese, parsley, chives or salt). Enjoy!

TIP ON STORING LEFTOVERS:

If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. You can reheat them in the microwave (1-2 minutes) or oven (400 degrees F, about 20-25 minutes or until warm).
