How to make Homemade Breakfast Sausage

We’re going to make this more healthy by mixing ground pork with ground turkey. The ratio will be 1:1, 1 pound ground pork and 1 pound ground turkey.

Mix spices together in a small bowl. 

Add ground pork, turkey and spices in a bowl. 

Mix to fully combine.

Roll the sausage mixture out into 1/2 inch thickness between 2 layers of wax paper (easy cleanup!).

You can use a biscuit cutter to cut out sausage patty shapes.

Or use the top of a wide mouth mason jar. 

Heat until they're browned on both sides, this takes about 5 minutes on each side or 10 minutes total.

Serve with  scrambled eggs...

Or on an egg and cheese sandwich.  Enjoy!
