HAMBURGER STEAKS WITH BEEF GRAVY

Ground beef hamburger steaks made on the stovetop with onions and extra beef gravy! Serve next to mashed potatoes for a homemade classic meal!

INGREDIENTS:

-1 pound ground beef -bread crumbs -egg -Worcestershire sauce -spices: salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper -yellow onion -all-purpose flour -beef broth -vanilla

HOW TO MAKE

1. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, onion powder, garlic powder and pepper together in a large bowl.

2.  Shape into 7 even sized balls.

3. Use your hand to flatten into steak patties.

4. Add patties and slices of onions in a large skillet, frying until steak patties are browned.

5. Remove steak patties from skillet and sprinkle flour on the onions.

6. Add beef broth and vanilla, bringing the gravy to a simmer.

7. Add steak patties back into the skillet, covering with a lid and cook until the beef steaks are cooked.

8. Serve (next to mashed potatoes of course) and enjoy!

WANT TO ADD MUSHROOMS?

Add sliced mushrooms at the end when you add the beef broth, allowing them to simmer with the hamburger steaks.
