These pickles taste just like NYC crunchy pickles! They have been made by tens of thousands of people worldwide!  Let's make them together!

Use Kirby cucumbers to make half sour pickles.  This recipe uses a half gallon mason jar.   The ingredients and amount of water to salt ratio in this recipe is for this sized jar.

Add cucumbers to a jar. Grind up all the dry ingredients (coriander, mustard seeds, peppercorns, 2 bay leaves) and add into mason jar with cucumbers. Pour in salt water mixture and garlic on top of cucumbers and spices.

And then add a few pieces of fresh dill on top.

Shake mason jar and put in the refrigerator.  Let them sit for at least 4 days before eating.  Enjoy! I think you're going to love them!
