German Pork Chops And Sauerkraut

EASY AND DELICIOUS DINNER

You will love these hearty pork chops with sauerkraut baked in a 9x13 dish! You must serve over mashed potatoes - yum!

INGREDIENTS:

1. Pork chops 2. Sauerkraut 3. Apple 4. Onion 5. Brown sugar 6. Cinnamon 

HOW TO MAKE

1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat brown pork chops on both sides. When browned place the pork chops in a baking dish.

HOW TO MAKE

2. In a large bowl mix together sauerkraut, diced apple, onion, brown sugar and dash of cinnamon. Spread this mixture on top of the pork chops.

HOW TO MAKE

3. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven until pork is fully cooked (depends on how thick your pork chops are).

HOW TO SERVE

4. Remove from oven and serve pork chops and sauerkraut over mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

HOW TO FREEZE LEFTOVERS

You can freeze pork chops and sauerkraut in freezer bags or freezer safe containers.  When ready to serve, defrost and then heat up either in the microwave or oven.
