Crockpot Sauerkraut Soup (With Sausage)

5 HOUR CROCKPOT RECIPE

Polish Sauerkraut Soup made with sausage, ready in 5 hours in the crockpot. This is a creamy and chunky Sausage Sauerkraut Soup with potatoes that my family loves on chilly evenings!

INGREDIENTS:

1. Sausage 2. Vegetables: Potatoes, Carrots, Onion, Garlic, Sauerkraut 3. Cans: Cream of mushroom,  Cream of chicken 4. Chicken broth 5. Water 6. Seasonings: Dill weed, Salt & pepper

HOW TO MAKE

1. In a crockpot mix together mushroom soup, chicken soup, chicken broth and water.

2. Add in sauerkraut, potatoes, carrots, onions, minced garlic, sausage and dill weed stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 5 hours (or until the potatoes are tender). Serve in bowls and enjoy!

STORING AND FREEZING LEFTOVERS

Sauerkraut soup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. When ready to serve, defrost and then heat up in a pot on the stove, or in the microwave.
