Chickpea Curry (Not Spicy!)

EASY CHICKPEA CURRY

Save money on Indian takeout and make your own at home! This easy chickpea curry is ready in 25 minutes! 

NOT SPICY! KIDS LOVE IT! 

This curry is not spicy, making it super kid approved!  All 3 of my kids (big and little) love this curry! Sometimes when we get Indian takeout it’s too spicy for them, but this curry is perfect!

INGREDIENTS:

1. Chickpeas 2. Onions 3. Garlic 4. Diced tomatoes 5. Brown sugar 6. Coconut milk 7. Flour 8. Cumin 9. Garam Masala 10. Curry powder 11. Olive oil 12. Salt & pepper

HOW TO MAKE

1. In a large skillet add olive oil over medium high heat. Add onions, diced tomatoes, salt and pepper to the skillet, stirring to mix. Heat on a low boil until onions are softened.

2. Add chickpeas, coconut milk, minced garlic, garam masala, curry powder and cumin to the skillet, stirring to combine.

HOW TO MAKE

3. Bring the curry to a boil. Add flour and stir to completely mix in – the flour will thicken the sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

HOW TO SERVE

Serve this chickpea curry over white rice and naan. Enjoy!
