BLUEBERRY SCONES

These blueberry scones are the best of both worlds – flaky on the outside and juicy inside!   Each bite gives a burst of sweet, juicy blueberry flavor.

How many blueberries do you need for scones?

You need 1 cup of blueberries to make 12 scones. I recommend using fresh blueberries.

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED

flour white sugar brown sugar baking powder salt chilled butter blueberries heavy cream egg

HOW TO MAKE

1. Spray baking sheets. 2. Mix dry ingredients together. 3. Cut in cold butter. 4. Add heavy cream and egg and mix. 4. Add blueberries. 6. Roll out dough and cut into scone shapes. 7. Bake and enjoy!

How to serve scones?

Serve as is, or with clotted cream and raspberry jam. For simple presentation, dust with powdered sugar. Check out my  5 minute clotted cream recipe below!
