Beef And Mushroom Dumplings Soup (Taste Like Soup Dumplings!)

INGREDIENTS:

1. Wonton wrappers 2. Mushrooms 3. Ground beef 4. Beef broth 5. Minced garlic 6. Ginger 7. Soy sauce 8. Green onions 9. Olive oil 10. Pepper

HOW TO MAKE THE FILLING

1. Heat olive oil in a big skillet, cooking mushrooms and garlic together.

2. Mix ground beef, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, green onions, and the cooled mushroom mixture.

3. In a medium sized pot, cook green onions, ginger and garlic together.

4. Pour in beef broth and soy sauce, bringing to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer while you prepare  the dumplings.

5. Place filling in the middle of each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges, fold over to make a dumpling, and press to seal.

TIPS FOR FOLDING DUMPLINGS

1. Square wrappers are easier. 2. Do not overfill. 3. Use a dumpling press.   4. Use water to help seal the dumpling edges together.  

HOW TO MAKE

6. Cooking the dumplings is a 2 step process, first we brown and then we steam! Heat olive oil in a large pan. Add dumplings and cook until the bottoms are lightly browned.

7. Reduce heat, add water, and cover. Let dumplings steam until softened and the filling is fully cooked. Repeat until all dumplings are cooked.

HOW TO SERVE

Put dumplings in a bowl, pour some broth over them, and enjoy!

HOW TO FREEZE DUMPLINGS

1. Place cooked dumplings on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet and freeze.   2. Place frozen dumplings in a freezer bag.
