Tropical Fruit Whipped Cream Salad recipe. This delicious fruit salad is a great last minute dessert.
This Tropical Fruit Whipped Cream Salad is one of my favorite desserts to make in a rush for those friends that stop over for dinner, to a kids birthday party where you need a treat for adults, or just for you because you’ve had a bad day and you deserve a treat. If the last choice is your option, I also would recommend eating this on a couch, with cozy socks on, cats on your lap while watching Law & Order.
This recipe is easy. You can practically do it in your sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend that because you will eat it all at 3AM. Best of all, you can mix and match. Maybe you want to add some more fruits, go for it. Maybe throw some nuts in there? Go for it. Shredded coconut? Pour it on. Want to add more fruits? Go for Pineapple Chunks (or crushed, tidbits, slices).
Your ingredients are:
2 cans of DOLE Tropical Fruit in Light Syrup and Passion Fruit Nectar (15 oz can) (with juices)
1/2 cup grapes
8 oz tub of frozen whipped topping
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup marshmallows (chopped up or mini marshmallows)
1 cup maraschino cherries
And then it’s going to get really simple. You’re going to throw everything into a bowl, mix around, throw in the fridge for 1-2 hours and then dive in and eat.
Seriously, so easy, right?
And isn’t everything better with some maraschino cherries? They are one of life’s delights.
It’s a salad.. see there’s tons of fruit!
And frozen whipped ream… grab a spoon and dig in!
Throw that whipped cream in your bowl and mix it around good. If your whipped cream is frozen make sure you let it sit out for a few minutes to get it soft so you can stir it around.
And you’re left with this beautiful Tropical Fruit Whipped Cream Salad.
I love serving this into glass cups. The fruit is so pretty and bright that it deserves to be shown.
