Morning Tea Time Walk

Posted:9/10/17
Updated:9/10/17

Join me and Enceladus for our morning tea time walk!  Mom finally gets to enjoy tea again! This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Straight Up™ Tea and Albertsons Companies. The opinions and text are all mine.

I love tea time. It doesn’t matter if it’s morning, afternoon or night… if you say, “Let’s do tea!” my response will always be “yes!” With the arrival of Enceladus, my daily routine has significantly changed, mostly because I have no routine any more… it’s whatever baby says, I do!  One thing we both agree on is that we start the day off better if we go for a morning walk after her first feeding.  After she’s done gulping her breakfast, I’ll throw on the carrier and we’ll head out for a 2-3 mile walk around the neighborhood.   During this time she usually naps and I get to see the outside world and enjoy some daily sunshine.

After a few walks I realized this could be valuable tea time for me.  I was missing my morning and afternoon cup, so this was a perfect opportunity for me to get back to enjoying tea and some quiet time!

My favorite tea is black and unsweetened, so let me introduce you to my favorite morning walk tea… Unsweetened Straight Up™ Tea!  I prefer my tea unsweetened because it gives me the option of adding a sweetener if I want, but I usually prefer it 0 calories (save those calories for a much needed afternoon donut!).  Straight Up Tea has a true tea taste, with nothing artificial and all natural ingredients.  Besides the Unsweetened, I also love the Honey Green.  Other varieties you might want to check out are Sweet, Sorta Sweet and Rooibos too!

During our walk we usually stop at a local park and I’ll remove her from the carrier if she’s up.  She started to give her first real smiles in the morning so this is time for me to talk to her and make silly faces while she smiles.  Seeing her smile has suddenly made the sleepless days and nights better!  Sometimes she’ll flash a ridiculous smile and I’ll just lose it with laughter.  I love it!

Thanks for joining us for our morning tea time walk!

Enjoy your next morning walk Moms and Dads (of human or furry babies!)! Want to try Straight Up Tea? Head to ACME! Here’s a buy one/get one offer to try for yourself!

    Pamela,
I have so enjoyed your blogs about the gardening…I grew up on a farm and still grow herbs..condo living is not the ideal place for a garden. However, your posts about your adventure as a new Mom has touched my heart. I’m a grandmother..the youngest is 21 and seeing a child blossom( gardening again) is one of life’s greatest joy’s.
