The title says it all. Are you a cereal addict? Please don’t be afraid to raise your hand.
I was out today and it sure was hot. By the time I got home I was sweaty, grumpy and muttering crazy things about Fall, pumpkins and apples. Then I had one thing on my mind, something guaranteed to change my mood immediately. Cereal. I dropped my bags at the front door, slid my shoes off, pet all the cats (cause I had to) and then grabbed a bowl out of the shelf. Then I opened another shelf, grabbed my favorite cereal of the moment and poured. Then I added some almond vanilla milk on top and sat on the floor, surrounded by cats, eating a bowl of cereal. I was cheered up within minutes. Cereal makes me feel awesome, like a super hero, like I can save the world with a bowl and spoon.
This is Great Grains Berry Medley which is my favorite cereal right now! I can’t get enough. Why’s it so good? They gently crack the whole wheat berry and add a mix of grains to the flakes, while some of the competition add artificial sweeteners, flavors or isolated fibers to their flakes. Then they add in nutritious fruit, nuts and/or seeds. Great Grains has nutrition you can see. This is delicious. Cereal for dinner anyone?
There are eight varieties of Great Grains cereals including:
– Great Grains Digestive Blend Berry Medley
– Great Grains Digestive Blend Vanilla Graham
– Great Grains Protein Blend Honey, Oats & Seeds
– Great Grains Protein Blend Cinnamon Crunch
– Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch
– Great Grains Crunchy Pecans
– Great Grains Raisins, Dates & Pecans

All of the varieties of Great Grains have at least 30g of whole grains per serving and are a heart healthy way to start the day.
I already told you about my love affair for Berry Medley but the Vanilla Graham might be a runner up. Matthew and I are basically fighting each other over the box in the morning. He dares not finish it!
I have this spoon and it makes me smile every time I eat cereal.
