Cozy in California

 

I’m sorta obsessed with socks.  I have a giant drawer full of them that I can’t really close.  If you open it up, you’ll see a rainbow of patterns and colors, and every holiday possible in sock form.  For Christmas, I’m guaranteed to get at least 3 pair of cat socks, so you can imagine I’m always equipped with cats under my shoes.  I treat socks a a luxury item so I try to buy the best.  From buying handmade wool socks on Etsy to buying the softest socks in the store, I always need comfy and Ultra Soft, Oh. So. Soft.

When traveling I try to pack light as I always stress out about carrying too much on the plane.  I always check my clothes, and take a bookbag on the plane.  In my bookbag I carry my laptop, Kindle, snacks and a mixture of must have plane items.  One of those is of course… socks.  Recently I have fallen in love with Gold Toe Ultra Soft, Oh. So. Soft. socks and they’ve been my go to partner around the world. 

When you get off your flight at 2AM, get the hotel at 4AM and then sleep in until 11AM, stretch out those feet on your balcony and marvel at the palm trees.

And then eat breakfast in bed because that’s the only way to roll in that situation.

We were in Los Angeles for work so didn’t have much time to see the sights, but I did get to run around in the Pacific Ocean.

Also, we had some killer Mexican food with one of my best friends.  We ordered way too much and were in food coma afterwards to the point that I just giggled the whole ride back to the hotel.
 

On the last night when I got back to the hotel after a long day, I threw on a comfy robe, jumped into our comfy bed away from home and threw on my comfy socks.  I was  sleeping on clouds.
