Candy Corn Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies using Oreo Cookies! Grab a pack of Halloween Oreos and bake these cookies!
Candy Corn Oreo Cookies
Every year Oreo releases limited edition Candy Corn Oreo Cookies around Halloween time. Every year I go to Target waiting for them to stock the shelves. Last year, I went to Target 2 times a week for the entire month of October, and they were sold out every single time.
The employees told me people they couldn’t keep them in stock. I was devastated. So imagine my happiness when I saw them in Target last week. I started crying in the cookie aisle. I slid to the ground, cookies in my arm, hugging them tightly, crying out loudly “I LOVE YOU!”. Target asked me to leave, but first I bought the cookies.
So if you are reading this post, I ask you to PLEASE find these cookies and buy 2 packages. The first package, you can just eat – gobble up them Oreos! The 2nd package, make these Chocolate Chip Oreos using the Candy Corn Oreos! Enjoy!

Wondering if used melted butter or softened? The recipe says softened but the photo looks melted to me! Thanks!
Pamela says
I like to melt the butter but stop it before it turns into pure liquid and is still a bit creamy. Enjoy!

There is so much I love about this. First, I found a fellow Brooklyn blogger! But second, candy corn is my fav in the fall! I buy the bag, put it in a cute pumpkin candy dish, and snack on it all season. I never knew they made candy corn oreos but I’m on the hunt starting asap!

I had no CLUE that Nabisco even made Candy Cane Oreos. I’ve had a lot of the other varieties, but never these. I feel like I’ve become a woman on a mission. I drive past at least three Targets on my way home from work. One of the stores HAS to have them in stock (right?!!!)
Can’t wait to try out these cookies…really! I’m already thinking of an excuse to stop at Target tonight.
Pamela says
Good luck Jamie! Keep trying! Target is a dangerous store for me, I always stop in there for 1 thing and end up coming home with 24 items!
Nicole @ Young, Broke and Hungry says
These oreo cookies just got put onto to my find list. Awesome recipe!
Pamela says
I hope you find them Nicole!
Amy @ Elephant Eats says
Nate LOVEs candy corn so his mom went out and got these cookies the second Target had them last year. I have to say that I was kind of disappointed. I mean, they’re good, but they don’t really taste like candy corn, which I was hoping they would. Please don’t hate me now ๐ Your cookies that are made with these cookies I could TOTALLY get on board with, though. Especially if you throw some chopped up candy corn in there too…Or maybe sprinkle a few on top? ๐
Pamela says
*Throws cookie at you*. I love the idea of sprinkles.. I was hoping to add black and orange sprinkles on top but I only had rainbow ones! Hoping to play around with some more candy corn recipes this Fall!

Averie @ Averie Cooks says
Ok I saw those Oreos last year and never tried them. I do love candy corn and I love that you made cookies, with cookies! I just made cookies with…cookie butter, which is made from cookies. Any time I can make cookies with cookies, I am happy ๐ They look so soft and chewy!
Pamela says
Thanks Averie! I love me some cookie butter, those cookies sound delicious! I hope you get some of these holiday Oreos this year!
Katie says
Please tell me you bought more than one package!
No Target here, but we do have Candy cane white chocolate m&ms, which isn’t the same, but I’ll take what I can get. I LOVE candycorn. LOVE it. You know that scene in ELf? That’s me. (“We Elves like to eat from all four food groups – candy, candy canes, candy corn, and maple syrup.”)
I made candy corn cookies a couple years ago and the candy corn melted out and crystallized on the outside. They were delicious. I’m pinning this!
Pamela says
Let me know if you can find them Katie! I sure hope you can! I want to hear more about your candy corn cookies, hopefully I will see it on your blog! ๐
