HEALTHY pumpkin butter made in 20 minutes.  Ingredients include pumpkin puree, apple cider, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and cinnamon.  Pumpkin Butter is delicious on waffles, pancakes, toast, as a fruit/veggie dip and more!

Waffles have been a go to breakfast for us lately, because they are both delicious and quick.  With frozen waffles, you throw them in the toaster oven for 6 minutes and they’re done.  Then it’s up to you how you want to eat them  – do you use syrup? How about jelly?  How about butter?  How about.. pumpkin butter?

Pumpkin Butter Recipe

If you want to make your own fresh pumpkin puree for this recipe you totally can. Here’s my tutorial I made for it last year.  To me, nothing tastes better than homemade pumpkin puree. If you are going to make your own, use a sugar pumpkin.  They give you the most taste.  Plus, they are real beauties.

What else is a beauty? My Bofinkles is.   Sorry, I’m easily distracted by cats.  They put a spell on me.

I don’t have a waffle iron, so frozen is the only way I get waffles around my house. Never had them with pumpkin butter, though. But I will. Unless, of course, I get distracted by our kitty. 🙂 Good stuff — thanks.

Oh you guys are the cutest!!! Ha! Love the GIF. Almost as much as I love the idea of shoveling this gorgeous, glossy pumpkin butter into my mouth with a spoon (I mean, atop of waffles, if I can wait for the waffles to be ready!). Lovely post. The Aunt Jemima waffles sound super convenient!

Want to hear a secret? I’ve never seen Dirty Dancing! I have, however, eaten plenty of pumpkin butter and frozen waffles in my day. Sounds like a winning combo!

I make mine in the slow cooker and let it get REALLY thick because that’s how I like it. SO delicious!

I have already made two batches this year (BLUSH). The first was your standard pumpkin butter, but the second I got all fancy. With BOURBON. And orange peel. Even more delicious and not safe for kids, so MORE FOR ME.

    Muahahaha.

I love Dirty Dancing. I have been thinking of watching it again. You have pushed me over the edge.
I do love waffles—-a lot. In fact I have been on a waffle kick for about 3 months now. This pumpkin butter is beyond butter. Wowzer. Yes, I am a major cat lover. So I love the picture. I have 3 cats. But I love dogs, so I have two of those. All of them are rescue animals and they so enhance my life!
