What I Love: Cookies & Cream Popcorn!

In the What I LOVE series, I’m sharing current things that I love.  Maybe it’s a new restaurant, maybe it’s a new cookie, maybe it’s a new cat toy, maybe it’s… anything!

Remember Savage Garden? Remember their lyrics:

I want to stand with you on a mountain. / I want to bathe with you in the sea. / I want to lay like this forever. / Until the sky falls down on me

Yeah, well that’s how I feel about all the popcorn from Pop Works & Company right now, especially the Cookies & Cream.   It’s really good and I mean reaaaaaaaaaaaalllly good.  It’s so good we’re basically tackling each other to get the few pieces left in the bag.  There’s side eyes being shot at one another when someone says they finished the bag without you knowing it.  This popcorn is popped just right and seasoned with all the sweetness you need.

Pop Works & Company starts with light and airy popcorn, adds sweet glazes and drizzles and sprinkles bits of sweet treats over the top resulting in three delicious flavors; Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel & Fudge, and Birthday Cake. This is going to be my new present that I send to friends and family.  I’m going to stock up and have some ready at home to take to parties.  People will know me as the girl who brings the most delicious popcorn to parties!  They will cheer when I enter the door.  Then I will throw popcorn in the air! It will be a fantastic party!

The flavors taste like they’re called.  “Birthday Cake” flavor is one of my favorites because I love anything “Funfetti” flavored.  My favorite being birthday cake batter straight from the bowl. 🙂 So when I see anything flavored “Birthday Cake” I always try it but usually am left disappointed.  First, it never looks like Birthday Cake, and then the taste is never right. So you can imagine my pure happiness when I tried Birthday Cake Popcorn from Pop Works & Company and each piece not only looked the part with bright colored sprinkles but it tasted like cake!

See, it looks just like Birthday Cake!

And even though I’m a Birthday Cake fanatic I have to say that Cookies & Cream is my favorite.  They are sweet and taste just like cookies.  They smell just like it too!

And last but not least,  Matthew’s favorite is the Salted Caramel and Fudge popcorn.  This is the traditional caramel corn you love but it has a salty chocolate taste added in to get that fudge flavor.  For each piece you can see the fudge drizzled on it.

I wish I had more pictures of the Salted Caramel & Fudge but I told Matthew to save me a bowl full to take pictures of and I opened the bag and found this, about 10 pieces.  And then he tried to act all innocent as if the cats have been stealing the popcorn. What a popcorn thief.
